Receta Sea Island Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. water
- 1 c. sifted self rising flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 c. shredded coconut
- 1 (16 ounce.) pkg. (1 c.) semi sweet chocolate pcs
Direcciones
- Heat the butter over low heat; remove from heat. blend in sugars and water. Stir in flour, then add in the egg and vanilla. Beat well. Add in nuts, coconut and chocolate pcs and stir to combine. Pour into square pan and bake for 30 min at 350 degrees. Makes 16 squares. NOTE: IF using plain flour, stir 1 1/4 tsp. baking pwdr in with flour.
