Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. beef (dark beer)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Direcciones
- Stir together dry ingredients. Combine egg and beer; slowly stir in flour mix. Dip fish into batter and fry a few at a time in warm oil (400-425 degrees) about 3 min or possibly till golden. Use haddock fillets. Cut into cubes, scallops, shrimp or possibly oysters. This gives a crisp texture with a malty flavor.
