Receta Shortcut Cubed Steak Stew

Ingredientes
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 beef cubed steaks, cut in strips
- 3 tbsp. shortening
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 4 med. potatoes, cut in eighths
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) frzn green peas
- 1/2 med. green pepper, cut into strips
Direcciones
- Mix flour, salt and pepper; coat meat and heat shortening and brown meat. Add in onion, garlic, potatoes, tomatoes, tomato sauce and 1 teaspoon salt; simmer uncovered stirring occasionally, about 30 min. Add in peas and green pepper, cook about 10 min more. For thicker stew, shake 1/3 c. water and 2 tbsp. flour, in a covered container. Add in to stew and cook till thickened.
