  • 1 pkg. Martha White 2-c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn strawberries, thawed
  • Strawberry or possibly Buttercream Icing (below)

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans. Combine flour, salt and soda; set aside. Beat Large eggs in large mixing bowl. Add in oil, sugar, gelatin and buttermilk; stir vigorously till well blended. Add in flour mix and blend well.
  2. Drain 1/2 c. juice from strawberries, reserve for Strawberry Icing. Fold berries into batter. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 25 to 30 min or possibly till golden. Remove from oven. Cold 5 min, turn out of pan onto rack and cold completely. Frost with Strawberry or possibly Buttercream Icing.
