  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (14 ounce.) box or possibly 49 caramels
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 2/3 c. canned evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 c. minced nuts

Direcciones

  1. In top of double boiler, heat caramels in 1/3 c. of the lowfat milk. Meanwhile heat butter and add in to cake mix with remaining 1/3 c. of lowfat milk.
  2. Grease and flour a 2 qt baking dish (glass). Press in 1/2 of cake mix. Bake in 350 degree oven for 5 to 6 min. Remove and sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Pour melted caramel over chocolate chips; sprinkle nuts over all and then spread in remaining cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 18 min. Cold and cut into squares.
