Receta Smothered Hamburger Steaks

Ingredientes
- 2 lb grnd chuck
- 1/4 c. steak sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 3 lrg onions halved, and
- Â Â thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. water
Direcciones
- Combine first 4 ingredients; shape into 6 patties.
- Cook patties in a large nonstick skillet, in batches, over medium-high heat 3 min on each side. Remove patties from skillet.
- Add in onion and 1/4 c. water to skillet; cook, covered, over medium heat 15 min. Uncover and stir; cook 10 more min.
- Remove half of onion from skillet. Return patties to skillet. Top patties with reserved onion; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 min.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
