Ingredientes

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley
  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1-1/2 lbs. ground pork
  • 1-1/2 lbs. sweet Italian sausage
  • 2 cans (1 lb, 12 oz each) whole tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 jar (28-32 oz) Prego Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
  • 2 cans ( 6 oz each) tomato paste
  • 1 can (18 oz) tomato basil soup (I use Progresso)
  • 2 cups red wine, water or beef broth (or combination of all 3)
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1 t crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 t dried oregano
  • 1 t dried basil leaves
  • 1 t Italian seasoning
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1 package (1 lb) spaghetti noodles
  • grated Romano cheese
