Receta Steamed Pork (Thit Chung)

Ingredientes
- 1 ounce cellophane noodles
- 4 ounce grnd beef
- 1/2 lb grnd pork
- 1 med onion minced
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 x shallots or possibly white part of 2 scallions minced
- 1 x garlic clove minced
- Â Â Freshly-grnd white pepper to taste
- 2 tsp fish sauce (nuoc mam)
Direcciones
- Soak the cellophane noodles in hot water for 20 min, then drain and chop fine. Combine the beef and grnd pork. Add in the cellophane noodles and the remaining ingredients and mix well with your hands.
- Transfer the mix to a bowl, then place the bowl in a pot of water reaching halfway up the bowl. Bring to boil; turn the heat down to medium and cover the pot (but not the bowl, as you want the wet steam to circulate freely and cook the food). Steam for 40 min.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
