Receta Super Skinny Sweet and Sour Cabbage Soup

Ingredientes
- 1 pound (96%) extra lean ground beef
- 6 cups water
- 4 cup reduced-sodium beef stock or beef broth
- 2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 medium head cabbage, sliced into 1-inch slices
- 2 cups onion, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- ¾ cup ketchup
- â cup brown sugar, substitution tip below
- 12 packages of Truvia, Stevia, Splenda or your favorite sugar substitute, see substitution tip below
- â cup cider vinegar
- Fresh ground pepper to taste

- Brown beef in a large nonstick pan. Pour into colander and drain all fat.
- In a large soup pot, add all ingredients including browned beef. Bring up to a boil. Cover and turn heat down to simmer for 30 minutes.
- To serve: Ladle 2 cups into each soup bowl.

- Substitution Tip-Iâve called for using both brown sugar and some kind of sugar substitute to keep the calories and sugars down in this recipe. If you want to use only brown sugar, increase from â cup to ¾ cup plus 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
