Receta Sweet And Sour Green Beans

Ingredientes
- 2 slices lean bacon
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- healthy pinch of warm red pepper flakes
- 1 large shallot
- 1 pound frzn green beans
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. cool water
- 2-3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Direcciones
- Mince the scallion and garlic.Saute 2 slices of minced bacon with the shallot and garlic. (Bacon can be easily cut directly in the pan using kitchen scissors).
- When bacon is crisp, pour off all grease, then add in 1/4 cup vinegar and 3/4 cup cold water, 2-3 tbsp sugar (or possibly to taste).
- Thicken the mix with 1 heaping tbsp of cornstarch mixed in a tbsp of cold water. Cook over high heat for 12 min or possibly till mix is thickened.
- Pour over the cooked liquid removed green beans; serve.
