Receta Tender Pork Tenderloin

Ingredientes
- 1 x pork tenderloin - (abt 16 ounce)
- 1 x garlic clove cut into slivers
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp grnd cumin
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- With the tip of a sharp knife, make deep little slits all over the tenderloin and insert the garlic slivers. Season with salt, pepper and cumin.
- Place the oil in an oven-proof skillet and sear the tenderloin well on medium-high heat for about 10 min, turning the meat over as it browns.
- Add in the chicken broth and white wine to the pan and place it in the oven for 10 min. Remove it and let it rest for 10 to 12 min, before carving. It will continue to cook as it sits. Slice and serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 2 servings.
- Comments: As pork is bred very lean these days, searing the meat holds in the juices. It is therefore a very important step.
