Receta Texas Venison Chili

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb Venision sirloin, cut in 1/2" cubes
- 1 lb Grnd beef (extra lean)
- 2 c. Yellow onions, minced
- 1 c. Green pepper, minced
- 1/4 c. Celery, minced
- 4 c. Garlic, chopped
- 3 lrg Jalapeno chile pepper, seeded and minced
- 1/3 c. Masa harina (Mexican corn flour)
- 1/3 c. Chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp Grnd cumin
- 1/2 tsp White pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp. Salt
- 2 can (15 1/2 ounce.) minced tomatoes
- 3 c. Beef broth
- 2 c. Canned black beans, rinsed and liquid removed
Direcciones
- Heat oil in a large Dutch oven or possibly kettle over moderately high heat. Brown venison and grnd beef in batches, transferring each to a bowl when browned; leave liquid in pot. Cook onion, green pepper, celery, garlic and chiles in beef juices, stirring till onion is soft. Add in masa harina, chili pwdr, Add in cayenne, cumin, pepper and salt and cook 5 min, stirring constantly. Add in tomatoes, beef broth and meat; simmer, uncovered, 1 1/2 hrs, or possibly till meat is tender. Stir in beans and simmer 15 min more.
