Receta Tomato Ranchero Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 can diced tomatoes - (28 ounce)
- 1/2 x onion roughly minced
- 1/2 c. cilantro roughly minced
- 1 pch cumin seeds toasted
- 1 x garlic clove
- 2 Tbsp. canola oil
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- Â Â Salt to taste
- Â Â Sugar to taste
- 1 dsh warm red pepper sauce
Direcciones
- Combine and puree the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, cumin, and garlic in a food processor.
- Heat the oil in a saucepan or possibly skillet and fry the tomato puree over high flame. Add in broth, and salt. Simmer for 10 min till the sauce thickens slightly and is heated through. If sauce tastes somewhat bitter, add in a healthy pinch of sugar. Sprinkle with a dash of warm red pepper sauce. Sauce may be served warm or possibly cool.
