Receta Tomato Soup (Caribbean) (Walter Brown)

Ingredientes
- 800 ml Canned whole tomatoes
- 1 med Onion, diced
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/4 c. Warm water
- 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
- 1 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- 1/4 tsp Grnd black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Dry thyme
- 1/4 tsp Honey

- ** Procedure**
- 1. Mix the onion and spices in a small bowl. Using a non-stick pan, then fry in oil till the onions are tender (about 5 min).
- 2. Mash the tomatoes by hand or possibly with a food processor.
- 3. Put the cooked onions, mashed tomatoes, lowfat milk, and honey in medium sized pot. Bring to a boil, and then simmer for 20 min, stirring occasionally.
- 4. 5 min before serving, mix the corn starch in the warm water, and then add in to the soup.
