- 1/2 c. butter
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tbsp. cream or possibly lowfat milk

- Cream butter in a bowl. Sift powdered sugar add in sugar to creamed shortening. Add in 1 egg yolk, vanilla, cream or possibly lowfat milk. Gradually add in remaining sugar, alternately with cream or possibly lowfat milk to make frosting thick and creamy. Covers 2 (9 inch) layer cakes or possibly 24 cupcakes.
