Receta Uncooked Butter Frosting

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. soft butter
- 3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk or possibly light cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

- Cream butter, add in sugar, salt, lowfat milk and vanilla. Beat till blended and fluffy. Add in a little more sugar if needed for right spreading consistency.
- Lemon or possibly Orange Frosting: Use lemon or possibly orange juice instead of lowfat milk and 1 tsp. of lemon or possibly orange rind.
- Maple Frosting; Use maple syrup instead of lowfat milk, omit lowfat milk and decorate with walnut halves.
- Strawberry: Omit vanilla, use crushed berries with juice instead of lowfat milk.
- Mocha: Use 1 lb. confectioners' sugar, sift 1/2 c. cocoa with it. Use 1/3 c. strong warm coffee.
- Chocolate Frosting: Use basic recipe with 1/2 c. butter, 1 lb. confectioners' sugar and add in 3 squares melted unsweetened chocolate or possibly 1/2 c. cocoa and 3 egg yolks. Beat till smooth.
