Receta Western Baked Beans

Ingredientes
- 8 strips bacon
- 4 lg. onions, sliced
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 2 (15 ounce.) cans dry lima beans, liquid removed
- 1 (1 lb.) can green lima beans liquid removed
- 1 (1 lb.) can dark red kidney beans, liquid removed
- 1 (1 pound 11 ounce.) jar New England-style baked beans
Direcciones
- Fry bacon in skillet till crisp. Drain on paper towels and crumble. Set aside. Place onions in large skillet and add in sugar, mustard, garlic pwdr, salt and vinegar. Cover and cook 20 min. Add in onion mix and bacon to the beans. Pour into 3 qt casserole. Cover. Bake in 350 degree oven. Uncover. Bake 30 min more. Makes 12 servings.
- NOTE: Pork & Beans can substitute for New England style beans. Enjoy!
