Receta Whole Wheat Corn Bread
This is a variation of a recipe I found here...I just made minor changes to make it a "clean" recipe.
Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons sucanat
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup soy milk, plain
- 1/4 cup applesauce, no sugar added
- 2 egg whites
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 400 °F. Spray square baking pan with olive oil cooking spray.
- Combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt in medium bowl.
- In second bowl, combine soy milk, applesauce, egg whites and sucanat. Stir until sucanat dissolves.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
