Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Shortening
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 x Egg
- 3 c. Flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Water
- 2 x Stiff-beaten egg whites
- 1/2 Tbsp. Orange juice
Direcciones
- Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add in egg and beat well. Add in sifted dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Roll 1/2 inch thich on lightly floured surface. Cut with floured halloween cookie cutters. Bake on greased cookie sheet in moderate oven (375) about 15 min.
- Makes 3 dozen.
- Frosting: Cook sugar and water to thread-stage (232 degrees). Pour over egg whites; beat constantly till mix forms beaks. Add in orange juice. Beat till thick.
