Receta Almond Loaf

Ingredientes
- 2 c. Bisquick(r) Baking Mix
- 1/2 c. All-Purpose Flour
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Butter, hard
- 1/2 c. Almonds, sliced
- 1 tsp Grnd Cinnamon
- 2 x Large eggs
- 3/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease and flour bottom of loaf pan.
- Mix baking mix, flour and sugar; cut in margarine till mix resembles cornmeal.
- Stir almonds and cinnamon into 1/2 of the margarine mix in small bowl; reserve.
- Stir Large eggs, lowfat milk, vanilla and almond extract into remaining margarine mix. (Batter will be lumpy.)
- Pour about half of the batter into pan; sprinkle with half of the almond mix. Pour remaining batter into pan; sprinkle with remaining almond mix.
- Bake till wooden pick inserted in center of loaf comes out clean, 40 to 45 min.
- Cold 5 min.
- Loosen sides of loaf pan; remove from pan. Cold completely before slicing.
