  • 2 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 c. almonds, sliced or possibly quartered
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract Salt and pepper to taste Fresh lemon or possibly lime juice (optional

Direcciones

  1. Steam beans for about 5 min or possibly till crisp-tender. Drain well.
  2. Saute/fry almonds in butter till well coated and crisp. Pour over beans. Add in vanilla, salt and pepper to taste and a squeeze of lime juice if you like.
  3. Serves 6
