Receta Amaretto - Hot Fruit Compote

Ingredientes
- 1 (16 ounce) can peach halves
- 1 (16 ounce) can pear halves
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can pineapple chunks
- 1 (17 ounce) can apricot halves
- 1 (16 1/2 ounce) can pitted dark sweet cherries
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 12 soft coconut macaroons, crumbled
- 1 (2 1/2 ounce) pkg. sliced almonds, toasted and divided
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/3 c. amaretto or possibly other almond flavored liqueur

- Drain fruits, put together canned fruits in a large bowl, set aside. Put together bananas and lemon juice, and toss gently. Add in to fruit mix.Layer half each of fruit mix and macaroon crumbs in a 2 1/2 qt baking dish; sprinkle with 3 tbsp sliced almonds and dot with 2 tbsp butter. Repeat procedure. Pour amaretto evenly over fruit mix.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. Stir before serving. 12 to 14 servings.
