- 10 ml GARLIC
- 1 Tbsp. CHILI Pwdr
- 3/4 tsp CUMIN
- 2 c. WATER
- 1/2 c. LENTILS
- 16 ounce CAN TOMATOES IN JUICE -- Minced
- 2 Tbsp. TOMATO PASTE
- 2 Tbsp. GREEN CHILIES -- CHOP
- 10 ounce RED KIDNEY BEANS -- Liquid removed & PEPPER TO TASTE

- IN LARGE SAUCEPAN COOK CELERY, ONION AND GARLIC STILL SOFT ABOUT 4 Minutes. Add in CHILI Pwdr AND CUMIN; COOK, STIRRING ONE MINUTE. Add in WATER AND BRING TO BOIL. Add in LENTILS REDUCE HEAT, COVER AND SIMMER 20 Min. Add in TOMATOES AND THEIR JUICE, TOMATO PASTE, Minced GREEN CHILIES, SALT AND PEPPER.
- COVER AND COOK 25 Min. Add in KIDNEY BEANS COOK AND STIR 5 MORE Min.
- SERVE OVER Warm RICE AND SPRINKLE WITH CHEESE.
