Receta Apple Chutney With Dried Cranberries

Ingredientes
- 2 tsp Garlic, chopped
- 1 c. Onions, chopped
- 5 c. Tart apples, peeled and dice
- 1/2 c. Light-brown sugar, firmly pa
- 6 Tbsp. White wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp Ginger, grnd
- 1/4 tsp Allspice, grnd
- 1/4 tsp Cloves, grnd
- 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes
Direcciones
- Ds Salt 3/4 c Dry cranberries 1 tb Cornstarch; mixed with 2 tbs ; cool water
- sugar, vinegar, mustard, ginger, allspice, cloves, red pepper flakes and salt in 1 1/2-qt non-reactive saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, till apples are tender, about 10 to 12 min, stirring occasionally. Add in cranberries and cornstarch mix to pan. Stir well to combine. Cook till cranberries are plumped and mix is thickened, about 3 min. Chill 2 days before serving. Can be refrigerated up to 1 month, or possibly frzn as long as 2 months. Serve chilled, or possibly at room temperature.
