Receta Apple Cinnamon Scones

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. Flour
- 1/2 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/3 c. Butter
- 1 c. Quick-cooking rolled oats
- 1 sm Apple, peeled, cored and minced
- 2 x Egg whites
- 2 Tbsp. Apple juice or possibly skim lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
Direcciones
- In mixing bowl stir together flours, baking pwdr and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in oats and apple. Add in egg whites, apple juice and honey. Mix well. Dough will be stick.
- Spray a baking sheet with nonstick coating. With floured hands, pat dough into a 7" circle on baking sheet. Cut into 12 wedges using a long thin-blade spatula. Brush tops with alittle lowfat milk. Bake at 400 for 10-12 min till golden brown. Serve hot.
