Receta Apple Muffins With Crumb Topping

Ingredientes
- Batter
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 c. skim lowfat milk
- 1 sm apple cored, pared and shredded
- 1/4 c. margarine melted
- 1 x egg
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon

- To Prepare Batter: Line twelve 2 1/2-inch diameter muffin pan c. with paper baking c. and set aside. (I spray the muffin c. with Pam).
- Preheatoven to 400 degrees. In mixing bowl combine first 4 ingredients. In 2-cupmeasure or possibly bowl combine lowfat milk, appple, margarine, and egg; pour into dry ingredients and stir till combined (don't overmix; batter should be lumpy).
- Fill each baking c. with an equal amount of batter (each will be about 2/3full).
- To Prepare Topping: In small bowl combine all ingredients for topping, stirring till thoroughly combined; sprinkle an equal amount of topping overeach muffin and bake for 15-20 min (till muffins are golden and atoothpick, inserted in center, comes out dry). Remove muffins to wire rack and let cold.
