Receta Applesauce Cake With Coconut Topping

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. cake flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg, beaten light
- 1 c. warm thick applesauce
- 3 T butter
- 5 T brown sugar
- 2 T cream
Direcciones
- Sift flour, soda and spices. Cream butter and sugar. Add in flour and applesauce, mix till smooth after each addition. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 inch cake pan for 50 to 60 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean (350 degrees).
- Mix and spread over the cake immediately as it comes from the oven. Put 1/2 cup coconut on top of the above mix. Put back in oven under hot broiler for a couple min.
