Ingredientes

  • 1 can (#10) red beans
  • 1 can (#10) kidney beans
  • 1 can (#10) tomato crushed
  • 1 can (#10) tomato, diced
  • 2 lb Celery, sliced
  • 3 lb Onion, medium dice
  • 1 1/2 lb Green pepper, diced
  • 10 lb Beef, grnd
  • 1 can (#2) green chilies, diced
  • 1 c. Jalpeno, canned, sliced
  • 1/2 c. Parsley flakes
  • 1 c. Chili pwdr
  • 3 Tbsp. Garlic minced
  • 3 Tbsp. Oregano
  • 4 Tbsp. Cumin, grnd
  • 1 Tbsp. Red pepper, grnd
  • 1 Tbsp. Salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. White pepper

Direcciones

  1. Combine red beans, kidney beans, diced tomato, crushed tomato, green chilies, in large pot
  2. (Don't DRAIN CANS). Add in jalpeno, chili pwdr, minced garlic, parsley flakes, oregano, cumin. Brown the beef and add in to the beans. Brown the onions and celery in grease from the meat then add in them to the rest. Add in the salt, black pepper, white pepper, red pepper.
  3. This is a thick chili.
  4. Simmer for 2 - 4 hrs. Serve or possibly chill. This chili will age well.
  5. Yield: 4 gallons
