Ingredientes
- 1 c. Uncooked rice
- 1/3 c. Raisins
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly margarine
- 2 tsp Curry pwdr
- 1 med Onion, minced
- 2 c. Water
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3 lb Frying chicken, cut up
- 1 can Tomato sauce, (8 oz) Minced peanuts (optional) Minced parsley (optional)
Direcciones
- Combine rice, raisins, butter, curry, onion, water, salt and Worcestershire sauce in a 2 qt oblong casserole. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave at high (100%) till rice is tender, 15 to 17 min, stirring twice during cooking time. Place chicken pcs over rice, with thicker portions to outside of dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at high (100%) 10 min.
- Turn chicken pcs over. Pour tomato sauce over chicken. Cover with wax paper. Microwave at medium high (70%) till chicken is tender, 15 to 17 min. Garnish with minced peanuts and parsley, it desired.
