Receta Baked Asparagus Patties

Ingredientes
- 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 x egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pch of red pepper
- 15 ounce can asparagus spears,
- 1 x liquid removed and cut into 1/2-in
- 2 c. fine dry breadcrumbs
Direcciones
- Heat butter in a heavy sauce pan over low heat; add in flour, stirring till smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Combine lowfat milk and egg yolk, stirring well; gradually add in to flour mix. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till thickened and bubbly. Stir in salt, pepper, onion juice, and asparagus pcs; refrigeratemix thoroughly.
- Shape into patties, using about 1/4 c. mix for each. Roll patties in breadcrumbs, and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350F. for 20 min or possibly till tops are golden. Turn and bake an additional 5 min.
