Receta Baked Oatmeal With Sauteed Apples

Ingredientes
- 3 c. old-fashioned oats
- 3/4 c. brown sugar - (packed)
- 2 tsp baking pwdr
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. butter melted, and slightly cooled
- 2 x Large eggs beaten
- 2 x tart green apples - (to 3) peeled, and thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. brown sugar - (packed)
- 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 1 pch salt
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 13- by 9- by 2-inch baking pan; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, sugar, baking pwdr and salt.
- In another bowl combine lowfat milk, melted butter and Large eggs; mix well. Pour into oat mix and stir till just mixed. Spread in prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 min. Serve topped with Sauteed Apples.
- Sauteed Apples: Saute/fry apples in a heavy skillet in butter. Add in brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Cover skillet and cook over low heat about 20 min or possibly till apples are tender. (
- Makes about 2 c.)
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
