Receta Barbecue Beef Sandwiches

Ingredientes
- 3 lb beef boneless chuck roast
- 1 c. barbecue sauce
- 1/2 c. apricot or possibly peach preserves
- 1/3 c. minced green bell pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp brown sugar - (packed)
- 1 sm onion sliced
- 12 x kaiser or possibly hamburger buns split
Direcciones
- Trim excess fat from beef. Cut beef into 4 pcs. Place beef in 4- to 5-qt slow cooker. Mix remaining ingredients except buns; pour over beef. Cover and cook on LOW heat setting 7 to 8 hrs or possibly till beef is tender.
- Remove beef to cutting board. Cut into thin slices; return to cooker. Cover and cook on LOW heat setting 20 to 30 min longer or possibly till beef is warm. Fill buns with beef mix.
- This recipe yields 12 sandwiches.
- Comments: For a delicious kick, spread buns with horseradish sauce. Sandwiches can be served au jus. Serve the juices left in the cooker in small bowls to dip the sandwiches into while eating to make each bite extra delicious!
