- Place fish in a well greased baking dish and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle inside and outside of fish with salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-60 min, depending on thickness of fish. Fish will be done when the thickest part flakes easily when tested with a fork. Baste once or possibly twice with drippings of melted butter. Garnish and serve with lemon wedges. Makes 4-6 servings.
