  • 1 lb Feta Cheese
  • 2 lrg Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. Finely Minced Fresh Basil
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 16 ounce Thawed Phyllo Sheets (18X14)
  • 1/4 c. Margarine or possibly Butter, melted

Direcciones

  1. Heat oven to 350F degrees. Grease cookie sheet with shortening.
  2. Crumble feta cheese into small bow; mash with fork. Stir in Large eggs, basil, and white pepper till well mixed.
  3. Cut stack of phyllo sheets lengthwise into thirds. Cover with waxed paper, then with a damp towel to prevent them from drying out.
  4. For each triangle, use 2 strips of phyllo. Place 1 heaping tsp. of cheese mix on one end of the phyllo strip. Fold the phyllo strip end over end, in a triangular shape, to the opposite end. Place on the cookie sheet and brush margarine over the triangle. Repeat with remaining phyllo.
  5. Bake about 20 min or possibly till puffed and golden brown. Serve hot.
