If you are cooking on the grill, use indirect heat until near the end (brown sugar will easily burn).

- 1 tbs. chile powder
- 2 tbs. Hungarian paprika
- 1 tbs. cumin
- 1 tbs. garlic powder
- 1 tbs. dry sage
- 1/2 tbs. onion powder
- 2 tsp. each: salt, pepper, Colman's dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
