Receta Beef Stewed In Soy Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 lb flank steak
- 3 piece ginger
- 5 c. water
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 12 x garlic cloves peel, left whole)
- 6 x Korean twist peppers whole
Direcciones
- Boil beef in water, strain, and wash with hot water. Cold and cut into chunks about 1 1/2 inches square.
- Combine beef and ginger with 5 c. of water, cover, and cook for 30 min over a medium flame. Skim the fat from the surface as it cooks. After 30 min, the water should be reduced to half the amount you started with.
- Add in soy sauce, sugar, and garlic and cook for 20 min over a low-medium flame. Add in peppers and cook for 5 min, covered.
- Throw away the ginger but serve the garlic and peppers with the soy sauce beef. Keep refrigerated for up to a week.
- This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
- Comments: This is sometimes served as a side dish.
