Receta Betty's Apple Crumb Pie

Ingredientes
- 6 lrg Apples
- 3 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 2 tsp Tapioca, instant
- 1 x 9 inch pie shell baked
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Grnd cinnamon
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar
- 3/4 c. Butter
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 375 F.Peel, core, and slice the apples and place in a large bowl. Add in the sugar, cinnamon. and tapioca and stir together till the apples are well coated.
- Spoon the apple mix into the pie shell. Dot with butter or possibly margarine and set aside. For the crumb topping, place the flour, cinnamon, and sugar in a large bowl and cut in the butter with a pastry blender or possibly two knives till the mix has the texture of coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle the crumb mix on top of the apples. Bake the pie for 40 to 45 mins.
