Receta Black Bun

Ingredientes
- 1 3/4 c. lowfat milk plus
- 3 Tbsp. lowfat milk
- 4 c. bread flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c. butter softened
- 2 c. currents
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 c. prunes stoned
- 1 c. figs minced
- 6 Tbsp. orange marmalade
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 2 tsp grnd cloves
- 2 tsp grnd ginger
- 1 tsp grnd cardamom
- 1/4 c. whiskey
- 1 x egg yolk
- 1 Tbsp. lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Place all of the dough ingredients in your machine in the order specified by your machine's manufacturer. Select the dough cycle and press start.
- Mix all of the filling ingredients together and set aside. When the dough is finished remove the dough and divide dough into thirds, combine two of the thirds and set aside. You should now have two dough balls, one larger than the other.
- Flatten the larger piece, and lay filling onto it. Knead filling and dough together till thoroughly incorporated. Roll out smaller dough piece into a circle. Place bun in center of dough; wrap completely, drawing together edges in the center of the top with a healthy pinch.
- Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper, and invert bun on to pan (pinched side down). Cover and allow to rise for 30 to 40 min. Skewer right through bun several times before glazing with mixed egg yolk and lowfat milk. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 2 hrs.
