Receta Bruschetta
Bruschetta is an antipasto from Italy consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt. Variations may include toppings of tomato, vegetables, beans, cured meat, or cheese. A popular dish is bruschetta with tomatoes; one recipe popular outside Italy involves basil, fresh tomato, garlic and onion or mozzarella. Bruschetta is usually served as a snack or appetizer. In some countries, the prepared topping is marketed as bruschetta.
Ingredientes
- 3-4 Roma Tomatoes, Chopped
- 1/2 Small Red Onion Chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic Finely Chopped
- 1/2 Fresh Basil Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 Fresh Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp. White Wine Vinegar
- Fresh Cilantro Chopped ( Optional )
- Shredded Parmesean Cheese
- Balsamic Glaze ( Optional for Drizzling )
- Ciabatta Bread
- Olive Oil for brushing Toasted Bread
Direcciones
- Mix the tomato ingredients together except bread, Parmesean Cheese and Extra Olive Oil.
- Toast the bread.
- Brush the toasted bread with Olive Oil
- Place the tomato mixture overtop toasted bread
- Sprinkle with Parmasean Cheese and place in the toaster oven again to warm up tomatoe mixture, and melt Parmesean Cheese.
- Drizzle Balsamic Glaze overtop ( Optional.)
