Receta Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 T sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 egg
- 1 c. buttermilk
Direcciones
- Sift together the first 5 ingredients. Cut in the butter till crumbly. Put together 1 1/2 cups of this mix with the 1 cup nuts. Put together 1/4 cup of the crumb - nut mix with the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Set aside. Press remaining crumb - nut mix into bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch buttered and lightly floured pan. Into the remaining flour - butter mix, beat in the soda, egg and buttermilk. Beat on medium for 1/2 minute. Pour batter in pan, sprinkle with the spiced topping. Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 45 min. Makes 15 to 20 servings.
