Receta Candied Winter Squash

Ingredientes
- 2 x - 3 medium butternut, delicata, or possibly banana squash
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp. softened butter
- 1 tsp finely shredded orange peel
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Direcciones
- Scrub squash, cut in half, and remove seeds. Place cut side up in a large roasting pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients. Spoon mix into squash halves.
- Cover squash with aluminum foil and bake for 30 min. Spoon sugar mix over squash, leave uncovered, and bake another 20 min, or possibly till squash is tender.
