- Put together sugar, lowfat milk and butter in large glass bowl. Cook in microwave oven 2 min; mix well. Continue cooking 5 min. Add in caramels. Continue cooking 45 seconds. Beat vigorously till caramels are melted and mix is smooth. Add in nuts; mix well. Pour into lightly greased 8" pan. Cool; cut into squares.
