Receta Cheddar Chive Drop Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 2 c. all-purpose flour (500 mL)
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr (15 mL)
- 1/2 tsp salt (2 mL)
- 1/3 c. butter at room temperature, cut into pcs (75 mL)
- 1 c. old Cheddar cheese shredded coarse (250 mL)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh chives minced (25 mL)
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk (300 mL) Additional minced chives
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 400=BAF (200=BAC).
- 2. Combine flour, baking pwdr and salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter using a pastry blender or possibly a fork to make coarse crumbs. Add in Cheddar and chives.
- 3. Stir in buttermilk, just sufficient to make a soft sticky dough. Drop 12 heaping tablespoonfuls onto a large greased baking sheet. Sprinkle tops with additional minced chives.
- 4. Bake on middle rack of oven for 18 to 20 min, or possibly till edges are coloured. Transfer biscuits to a rack to cold.
