Receta Cherry Coconut Bars

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour, divided
- 3 tbsp. sifted powdered sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 c. liquid removed & minced maraschino cherries
- 3/4 c. minced pecans
Direcciones
- Cream butter in medium bowl. Gradually add in 1 c. flour and powdered sugar, beating well. Press proportionately into a lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till it is lightly browned. Beat Large eggs in a medium bowl till foamy. Add in 3/4 c. sugar, the remaining flour, baking pwdr, salt, vanilla, coconut, cherries and pecans; mix well. Spread proportionately over baked pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. Let cold completely in pan. Cut into bars.
