Receta Chewy Oat Apple Brownies

Ingredientes
- 1 stk canola or possibly corn-oil margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. Unsweetened applesauce
- 1 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
- 1 x Egg plus
- 1 x Egg white, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. Unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Uncooked rolled oats
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 med Baking apples, peeled, cored, minced
- 1/4 c. Pecans, minced, toasted
- 1/2 c. Confectioners' sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Warm water
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
Direcciones
- 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9-inch baking pan with a non-stick vegetable coating; set aside.
- 2. Beat together margarine, applesauce, sugar, egg mix and vanilla in large bowl of electric mixer till light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients in a separate, medium mixing bowl. Add in dry ingredients to egg mix and mix just till combined. Stir in apples and nuts.
- 3. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 1 hour. Cold completely on wire rack.
- 4. For glaze, combine all glaze ingredients till smooth. Spread or possibly drizzle over cooled brownies.
