Receta Chicken Ala King

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 3 ounce. jar sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 c. minced pimento
- 1 c. frzn peas
- 2 c. cubed chicken
- 1/4 c. dry sherry or possibly vermouth (optional)
Direcciones
- Cook chicken and reserve broth; set aside. Heat butter, add in flour and salt, stir till smooth (mix will be very thick). Add in broth and lowfat milk, stir constantly till thick and bubbly, then add in mushrooms, pimento, chicken and peas and vermouth. Heat through.
- SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Toast points, puff pastries, or possibly English muffins.
