Receta Chicken Ala Maria

Ingredientes
- 3/4 c. fine dry Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- 6 whole large chicken breasts, skinned, boned and halved lengthwise
- 1/2 c. sliced green onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced spinach, thawed and well liquid removed
- 3/4 c. diced fully cooked ham
Direcciones
- Combine bread crumbs and cheese, reserve half for topping. Rinse chicken, pat dry. Dip chicken in crumb mix to coat lightly. Place in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- In a small saucepan cook onion in butter till tender. Stir in flour till blended. Add in lowfat milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly. Stir in spinach and ham. Spoon spinach mix over chicken, sprinkle with remaining crumb mix. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 min or possibly till chicken is no longer pink.
