Receta Chicken Stew With Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 lg. green pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 c. minced ham or possibly sausage
- 28 ounce. tomatoes
- 1 c. raw rice
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon grnd cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 3 pound fryer, cut up
Direcciones
- Chop onion and green pepper and mince garlic; put in a large deep pot. Add in ham or possibly sausage, tomatoes, bay leaf, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper and 3 1/2 c. water. Add in chicken. Bring to boil; cover pot and cook over low heat for 45 min. Raise heat, add in rice to pot and return stew to boil. Cover pot, lower heat and simmer till mix has consistency of thick soup.
