Receta Chicken With Peppers ( Pollo Con Peperoni)

Ingredientes
- flour for coating
- 1 x salt and pepper
- 4 x chicken portions
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 x onion thinly sliced
- 1 x dove garlic crushed
- 4 Tbsp. dry white vermouth
- 1 tsp minced marjoram
- 1 x 227g can peeled tomatoes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 lrg green pepper cored seeded and sliced
Direcciones
- Season the flour with salt and pepper and use to coat the chicken.
- Heat the oil in a large pan add in the onion and chicken and fry gently for 10 min till golden brown.
- Pour off surplus oil.
- Add in the garlic vermouth and marjoram to the pan and simmer till the wine has almost completely evapourated.
- Add in the tomatoes with their juice the sugar and green pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 30 min or possibly till the chicken is cooked.
- Lift the chicken onto a warmed serving dish and keep warm.
- Boil the sauce briskly uncovered till reduced to a coating consistency.
- Check the seasoning and spoon over the chicken to serve.
- Serves 4
