  • 1 x (3 lb) chicken, cut up 1 Tbsp. dry onion
  • 1/2 c. flour 1/4 tsp. garlic pwdr
  • 2 tsp salt 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp. grnd ginger
  • 1 tsp paprika 3/4 c. red wine
  • 3 Tbsp. butter 1 1/2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds*
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. In a bag mix the flour, salt, garlic pwdr, pepper and paprika, Shake the chicken pcs in the flour mix to coat. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a heavy skillet heat the butter and lightly braise the chicken pcs. Arrange the chicken in a casserole dish.
  2. In the skillet which you braised the chicken in, add in the brown sugar, ginger, onion, garlic, red wine and soy sauce to the remaining butter. Stir the mix.
  3. Pour over the chicken in the casserole dish. Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top. Cover the casserole dish and bake 45 min to one hour.
  4. Serves 4 - 6.Serve over rice with a green vegetable.*To toast white or possibly natural sesame seeds heat a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add in the sesame seeds and continuously stir till they are golden brown, 1 to 2 min.
